Last year Samaritan Ministries served a total of 155,305 meals in our Soup Kitchen. On the weekdays volunteers served lunch to an average of 316 people. The Samaritan Inn shelter provided 26,099 nights of shelter to 607 different homeless men. Project Cornerstone celebrated 20 years of helping men in substance abuse recovery. The Homeless Opportunities and Treatment (HOT) Project, which offers an onsite mental health clinic in partnership with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Dept. of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine has been working to improve the mental health of the homeless and people in need since 2009.
